hello all.

 

when you pressed touch " 7 " for male character he cry " coward ", but for female character it is a cry like " iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii " who is very ridiculous.

it is so fun to cry coward when you are atacked by multiple player and you will die.

 

i search how transform the cry, but i am scared to corrupt my game.

 

there is an easy solution ?

ps : creator of neogk is mysoginist ? you imagine lagertha lothbrok in vikings cry " iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii ", i think she cry more " coward "

 

if there is no solution i will glue all admin on server and cry all time " iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" until he becomes crazy

i have been experimenting with women voices for very long time. But i found out that it's extremly hard to find voice, which keeps the warband atmosphere.

 

About the last sentence - back in the days some trolls found out a glitch to spam taunting. We survived it so we will survive your your attempt

 

However, backup your 'Native' folder and try the solution you found.

The voice you are talking about is in these two files:

• Warband \ Modules \ Native \ Sounds \ woman_c_01.ogg
• Warband \ Modules \ Native \ Sounds \ woman_c_02.ogg

If you just replace them with your custom sounds in ogg format, its save and theres no way how can you corrupt your game.

 

Although im using this "íííííí" voice in very moments of critical situations and right before my death, i wish for some time aready to have woman's Ni voice. And since the easiest way to achieve this is to replace some existing voice, maybe we should replace this voice in next patch. Or better the "ouugh" voice . Question is, are we able to create/record two samples of woman's Ni for this purpose?  ...Ama??

At first I hated the woman yelling but overtime it grew on me, it's pretty nice to be able to scream when you end up facing 5 people in a castle corridor...

Ladies, internet is full of tools which can separate sound from videos. Let me suggest you to check your favourite series where these taunt you like are and cut it out. Share it with admin team and we can make optional voicepack then.

what about adding more "war" sounds to the game?  once i made a topic about adding war drums (feature would be similar to  the gong we have now,  just different pace and sound).   

 

there was orcish battle cry and drum   voice somewhere on the forum.
