I don't know what to say. It's a bug in Warband module management system, but quite hilarious.

What causes sound bug is that you switched modules  FROM IN-GAME WITHOUT CLOSING THE GAME. You should change module by closing for exaple nw and then launching mount & blade again and selecting native module. 

 

So DON'T SWITCH MODULE FROM IN-GAME

 

SWITCH MODULE BY CLOSING GAME AND LAUNCHING IT AGAIN AND SELECTING DIFFERENT MODULE

 

I hope this works, worked for me :)

Yeah, I figured it out in a similar way also. That was the first time I, in fact, tried to open a different module from the same client instance. But thanks anyway. :)
