Ok. 3rd ep of the 8th season was epic. Great battle, great emotions, despite all stupid moments. And let's be honest: don't you want to take a part in the battle? Fighting hordes of enemies, being hugely outnumbered, retreating step by step. As a mapmaker I want to make this scenario. Just want to be sure it'll be used, so every GoT fan can play the battle. There're enough plans of Winterfell and footage, that can provide accurate to the show castle. So, here's discussion: should i make it?

No, in fact I don't want to be one of the Unsullied that got roflstomped by a blob of undead.

It's the Long night so weather should rather be Neogk Midnight (Deep Black)?
Also Flag placed in the Sacred wood and add a Zip line there, for the ultimate Deus ex-machina Jumpsave of the flag.

I guess you can make something, post, get feedback, improve, test and so on. If it gets good enough it'll probably be added And new maps are always welcome

I bet that in that cold night, certain blacksmith felt something hotter than that dragon's fire breath after putting his spear into a virginal forge.
What a mofo.

The one in the video is based on facts from the books, and historical accuracy on a few points. Like the roofs are that pointy too make the snow slide off too prevent all of the extra weight.
And of course not everything in this video is 100% either;)
A few quotes on the design:
Winterfell is a large stronghold extending across many acres of territory, defended by two layers of strong stone granite walls. The outer walls are 80(25 ish meters) feet tall and the inner are 100(30,5 ish meters) feet tall, with a wide moat located between them.
The builders of Winterfell never leveled the ground, meaning that the castle complex actually spans several hills and valleys[...]
Winterfell is built around an ancient three-acre godswood[...]
Most of this isn't accurate in the show, but the dude in the video tried too keep this in mind whilst making this.
Also there is this "winter town" outside of the walls that people of the north uses during the winters. Not put into the show or in the video above.

If they had made the dual walls in the show, I guess they wouldn't have too make all of the useless defenses that they did ;p
