[Iceqatius]

Here is the new map list with some old maps returning with some new tricks. Two Caves by Gannicus and Desert Ruins by RKD. Both have received light upgrades in the forms of a healing well, treasure chests, anti glitch surfaces, weapons and some minor prop and terrain adjustments. Other maps making their returns are Duel Games, The House and Ruins of Ixkath. One map has also been removed for the time being, namely Island Arena.

This new maplist brings back the Arena map with a vengeance but it also brings more maps to the table. To increase rotation speed, the time limit has been lowered to 20 minutes. Know also that in the upcoming weeks other old and new maps will make their appearance on the server. All this is subject to some fine tuning naturally.

Why don't we have "Watch your steps" in current rotation?

 

We had poll for this in mid 2020 and 2/3 voted for it. Some admin promised that it would be in rotation when he get access/time. Now that topic was deleted and we still have no Watch your Steps in rotation.

 

Can admins explain this? Maybe just some admin hates this map and deletes all topics about it? And ignores my another topic with these same questions. Should I create another poll for this map or what?

Updated. Several things updated, changed the rotation slightly again and added Watch your Step.

It seems interesting that now every map lasts only for 20 minutes.

 

But every 4 map having Arena is real hell. With vote enabled and no Arena in the rotation we had it like in every 2-3 maps. Now we will have 25% of Arena in rotation and 25+% Arena with spam vote on other maps. 

 

No good.

I've been playing constantly since the update and it works really well. The less popular map where you might feel like deleting Warband doesnt feel like an eternity anymore. Plus you give the arena junkies their fix frequently. I think its a big step in the right direction for sure

Btw, can we consider "The Old Lighthouse" in the Arena rotation?

 

This Lighthouse is awesome! It has interesting spots to capture and hold and large plain to play cav. Please-please-please!

Please remove restrictions on your maps. Such as auto-kill cav. TG-arena was never about restrictions was it? It is a casual free-for-all. Not a modded and restricted duel server.
