I don't know anything about expansions, so we'll go with whatever you say - I looked for Soulstorm and found a download, will give it a shot and see if my lapop can run it.

It should work,the requirements are relativley low.
Soulstorm has the most races - Space Marines,Chaos,Eladr,Orks,Imperial Guard,Tau,Necrons,Dark Eldar and the Sisters of Battle. More factions - more fun.
While the skirimish mode is best in soulstorm,if you want a good campaign you should try Dark Crusade. Soulstorm's campign is...well...lackluster...

I only played a campaign with Space Marines (don't think I finished it) and some skirmishes with Imperial Guards. But I'm not really interested in single-player anymore.
