Btw wouldnt it be better if it was ft 10 instead of best of two ? 2v2 tournaments are usually ft10
Ft 10 is quite a lot, so Ft 7 is good idea!

Still a lot of players came. There will always be some people complaining, and in my humble opinion the state of affairs shall be measured by the amount of people who turned up, not by the amount of individuals that could not come. There might also be people that, for instance, cannot play after the extension time ends...
Besides that, wishing everyone to come is too much; when one cannot turn up, then the wise move would be to announce it and drop out. As I wrote above, by extending the span between the planned start and the actual commencement of the event, you might have possibly prevented someone who came punctually from playing, as said person could not, for example, play after 19:15 CEST.
"The event will start after 10min, if 10min runs out and the team didn't join, you will be considered out."

You are right, i should have started it, as i wrote above i will not wait anyone, but consider it first and last mistake since i have never hosted any tournament and this one was my first experience.

Thanks to everyone who came, it was fun ( little stress for me) but i enjoyed it and i am happy for the winner, everyone fought good and showed good behavior.
1st place: Recardoo's Team
2nd place: Peachus's Team
3rd place: Juke's Team
There will be more Tournament's soon, and it will be more organized.
